Job Overview

Central Power Purchasing Agency (Guarantee) Limited. plays a pivotal role in Pakistan's power sector and offers an exciting career opportunity for a Chief Internal Auditor. This is a key senior role, offering the opportunity to provide independent assurance and strategic insight to the Board and senior management, while contributing to the continued strengthening of governance, risk management, and internal control across the organization.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

The candidate must meet fit and proper criteria as defined under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.

Required Qualification:
The candidate must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants, qualified CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/ or MBA (Finance) from a reputed local or international University/Institute.

Professional Experience Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in senior management or executive-level roles, with demonstrated expertise in auditing and risk management, designing internal control procedures, effective compliance of financial reliability in public/private sector with understanding of governance, risks and controls especially in SOEs or public sector projects. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience in the power sector.

Age Limit:
Up to 57 years at the closing date of advertisement.

• The appointment shall be made in accordance with the prescribed CMU guidelines and criteria applicable to C-Level positions in State Owned Entities (SOEs).
