Chief Financial Officer

Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will play a crucial role in the financial management of PIEDMC, ensuring compliance with Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013. This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial controls, regulations, and reporting standards.
PIEDMC is a not-for-profit organization mandated to achieve orderly, planned and rapid industrialization in the province of the Punjab by developing a chain of new industrial estates and up-gradation of existing ones.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a Member of a Recognized Body of Professional Accountants (CA/ACMA/ACCA/ICAEW).

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 15 years of overall relevant experience in accounts, finance, and audit is required. Out of this, at least 08 years must be post-qualification experience in a financial management position, including exposure to planning, budgeting, cash management, and financial controls. Thorough knowledge of relevant IFRSs/IASs, compliance requirements, tax and commercial laws & regulations is essential. A minimum of 03 years experience in a similar senior management/leadership role is mandatory. Experience and familiarity with public sector organizations and infrastructure development projects will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and practices/taxation laws.
• Sound knowledge of ERP systems.
• Knowledge of PPRA rules.

Age Requirement

Candidates must be a minimum of 40 years old.
