About the Role

National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), a premier public sector organization and a leading name in Pakistan's General Insurance industry, invites applications from accomplished, result-oriented, and dynamic professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of three (03) years, with detailed terms and conditions to be settled in the contract.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, or a foreign qualification of equivalent level recognized by the HEC, with at least 10 years of experience out of which 5 years should be as a Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive, or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or as an officer with an Insurance Regulator. Alternatively, candidates must be ACII or FCII, a Fellow or Associate of the Institute or Society of Actuaries or equivalent qualification as recognized by the Pakistan Society of Actuaries, and hold a Master's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or Actuarial Science from a University recognized by the HEC with at least 5 years of experience as a Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive, or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or as an officer with an Insurance Regulator. No individual shall be appointed unless they meet the criteria set forth in the Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012 issued by the SECP.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the vision, mission, and goals of the Company as outlined by the Board of Directors.
• Report company performance to the Board and provide inspired leadership.
• Provide a marketing plan and the vision of the company's future development.
• Lead development and execution of short and long-term operational policies and strategic plans.
• Assess risks to the company and ensure they are monitored and minimized.
• Manage company finances, work closely with the Human Resources (HR) department, and oversee quality control.
