Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

About The Role

The National Grid Company (NGC) of Pakistan is looking for a dynamic Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCA) to be based at the Head office. The role requires a cohesive and credible corporate presence through effective government and stakeholder relations, strategic communications, and robust compliance oversight, supporting NGC's mandate as a national transmission utility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead government relations, policy monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage corporate communications, media relations, and crisis response.
• Drive ESG initiatives and community engagement for transmission projects.
• Oversee corporate governance compliance, ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures & SOPs.
• Safeguard and enhance NGC's corporate reputation.

Required Qualification and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Law, Business, Political Science, International Relations or a related discipline.
• Master's degree (MBA, MA in Communications/Public Policy) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years or more post qualification experience in corporate affairs, public affairs, government relations, strategic communications, or enterprise level reputation management.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in large, complex, or highly regulated organizations.
• The candidate must meet the Fit & Proper Criteria under Schedule-IV of the SOE Act 2023.
