About the Role
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for supporting women digital entrepreneurs and freelancers, focusing on service positioning, client acquisition, and optimization of digital platforms. This role involves identifying local market opportunities, connecting incubatees to buyers, exhibitions, and both physical and digital sales channels. The officer will also contribute to community entrepreneurship initiatives and enterprise facilitation, particularly within rural businesses and development programs.Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university. Preferred specializations include Business Studies, Management Sciences, or Social Sciences, providing a strong foundation for understanding market dynamics and entrepreneurial support.Experience
At least 2 years of experience in business development, community entrepreneurship, enterprise facilitation, or sales/marketing is required. Experience working with women entrepreneurs, rural businesses, or development programs is preferred, indicating a commitment to the mission of women's empowerment.Required Skills
