Biomedical Technician

Role Overview

Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot, under the Board of Management (BoM), invites applications for the newly created technical post of Biomedical Technician. This position is offered on Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 12. The role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment within the hospital.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• Three (03) years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Biomedical Technology from a recognized Technical Board.
• OR Three Year DAE in Electrical / Electronic with Post Diploma In Biomedical.

Experience

A minimum of two (02) years of practical experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment will be preferred.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 20 and 32 years of age. Age relaxation in the upper age limit shall be granted as per Government rules.

Interested candidates must submit their complete applications along with attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, domicile (Punjab Province), two passport-size photographs, and relevant documents to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot.

Important Conditions:

• Recruitment will be on a merit basis as per Government of Punjab Recruitment Policy.
• Appointments are initially temporary, extendable based on performance.
• Domicile must be Punjab Province.
• Government-mandated quotas (Minority, Disabled, Women) will be observed.
• Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channel and submit NOC at the time of interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview (No TA/DA paid).
• Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
