Biomedical Gases Technician

Role Overview

Applications are invited for the position of Biomedical Gases Technician at Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot. This technical role is offered on Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 12 and involves the maintenance and repair related to biomedical gas systems and associated equipment within the hospital.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold one of the following:

• Three (03) years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Biomedical Technology from a recognized Technical Board.
• OR Three Year DAE in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical with Post Diploma In Biomedical.

Experience

A minimum of two (02) years of practical experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment is preferred for this role.

Age Limit

The required age range for applicants is 20 to 32 years. Standard government rules for upper age limit relaxation will apply.

Candidates meeting the criteria should submit their complete application package, including attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, Punjab domicile, two recent passport-size photographs, and other relevant documents, to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, Sialkot.
Submission Deadline: Applications must be received by April 26, 2025.

• Selection is based on merit according to Government of Punjab policies.
• The initial appointment is temporary and subject to extension based on satisfactory performance.
• Applicants must hold a Punjab Province domicile.
• Government quotas (Minority, Disabled, Women) are applicable.
• Those already in Government/Semi-Government service must apply through proper channels and provide an NOC during the interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
• Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.
