Role and Responsibilities

The incumbent will lead and promote the institution's research and innovation activities by mentoring faculty and postgraduate trainees, supporting research proposal development and grant writing, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance, conducting capacity-building workshops, fostering national and international research collaborations, and securing competitive research funding from government, industry, and other national and international funding agencies. The incumbent will also oversee grant management and contribute to strengthening the institution's research capacity and innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a PhD in Molecular Biology from an HEC recognized university along with five research publications in HEC recognized journals and minimum 5 years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized university or a post-graduation Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
