Job Overview

Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Molecular Biology & Genetics. The incumbent will lead and promote the institution's research and innovation activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• PhD in Molecular Biology from an HEC recognized university.
• Must have five research publications in HEC recognized journals.
• Minimum 5 years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized university, post-graduation institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will lead and promote the institution's research and innovation activities by mentoring faculty and postgraduate trainees, supporting research proposal development and grant writing, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance, conducting capacity-building workshops, fostering national and international research collaborations, and securing competitive research funding.
