Position Overview

Govt. College Women University Sialkot is inviting applications from highly qualified, accomplished, dynamic, and motivated Pakistani Nationals for the academic post of Assistant Professor (Computer Science & Information Technology) in BS-19. This position is available on a Basic Scale (Regular/Contract) basis and is located in Sialkot, Punjab.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Engineering or Information Technology or Computing or an equivalent qualification from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Age Limit

The required age limit for applicants is between 25 and 45 years. General age relaxation may be granted as per Government of Punjab policy upon request.

Interested candidates must first apply online via the university portal at https://jobs.gcwus.com/ by the closing date of 02 May, 2025. After applying online, candidates must submit three (03) hard copies of the duly signed online application form, along with an updated one-page CV, attested copies of degrees/certificates/testimonials, recent photograph (1x1), and proof of deposit for the processing fee. The non-refundable fee for BS-19 posts is Rs. 3000/-, payable via demand draft/pay order or original deposit slip in favour of Treasurer, Govt. College Women University, Sialkot OR deposit in Bank of Punjab (Paris Road Branch Sialkot) A/C No. 6580208768600042 (Postal orders are not acceptable). Hard copies must be submitted by 06 May, 2025 (within office hours) in person or via courier to the Registrar, Govt. College Women University, Sialkot. Ensure the name of the post applied for is written on the top right corner of the envelope.

Important Instructions

Applicants with disability are exempted from the processing fee upon provision of proper disability certificate. Government employees must apply through the proper channel with a Departmental Permission Certificate/ NOC issued by the competent authority. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications and processing fees for each post. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/test (No TA/DA will be admissible). Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
