Assistant Professor (Anesthesia)

Role Overview

As an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia, you will be involved in both clinical duties and academic responsibilities. You will provide anesthetic services to patients, teach and supervise medical students and residents, and be encouraged to participate in research activities. This position is a stepping stone for a career in academic medicine.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible, candidates must have:

• Qualification: Applicant must have FCPS in Anesthesia, FRCA, Certification of the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), CCT, or another equivalent qualification in the specialty that is recognized and registered by the PMDC.
• Experience: The eligibility criteria for the position of Assistant Professor shall be followed as per the latest PMDC Rules and MTI Act 2015, which typically requires completion of fellowship and may require some post-fellowship experience.
• Preference: Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in the specialty and experience working with state-of-the-art facilities.

You must also include the original bank deposit slip for the processing fee.

Processing Fee: Rs. 1,000/- for this position.
Bank Details: The fee should be deposited in the name of “Hospital Director, Peshawar Institute of Cardiology MTI” in Account No. 0083-0000-0165-1008, Bank of Khyber, Phase 5, Hayatabad Branch, Peshawar.

The last date for applying is June 27, 2025. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
