As an Assistant Manager Sales, you will be reporting directly to the Area Marketing Manager, playing a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and ensuring high customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager Sales will be entrusted with several critical responsibilities aimed at driving profitability and fostering strong customer relationships. These include:- Achieving established sales and profitability targets, ensuring customer satisfaction levels are met to retain existing clients and attract new growth opportunities.
- Actively pursuing business development goals as per the assigned targets, expanding the company’s reach and market share.
- Proactively managing customer satisfaction and service delivery, acting as a crucial interface between the customer and all relevant departments within StarchPack.
- Overseeing payment collection and ensuring timely credit settlements in line with company policies.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all company policies and procedures by everyone, and serving as a safety representative within the team.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors
Candidates applying for the Assistant Manager Sales position should possess a robust set of qualifications and skills to excel in this demanding role. The preferred educational background includes a University Degree such as BBA/MBA, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B Sales. Industry experience in starch applications, particularly within paper & board, textiles, and/or foods sectors, will be highly regarded. Essential soft skills include strong negotiation abilities, excellent analytical skills for market assessment and strategy development, good presentation and communication skills to articulate proposals effectively, and a proven proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.Application Process
