Assistant Director Purchase (BPS-17)

Position Overview

AIOU invites applications for the post of Assistant Director Purchase (BPS-17) on a regular basis. This position, based at the Main Campus, is responsible for assisting in the procurement processes of the university, ensuring transparency and compliance with relevant rules and regulations. It is an ideal role for individuals with a strong administrative background.

Qualifications and Experience

The eligibility criteria for the Assistant Director Purchase are as follows:

• Qualification: A 2nd Class Master's Degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Relevant administrative experience in a Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Body, or a university of repute shall be preferred.
• Age Limit: The age limit for this position is 30+5 years.

2. Application Fee: A processing fee of Rs. 1500/- for BPS-17 posts is required. The fee challan can be downloaded from the AIOU Job Portal.

3. Submission Deadline: The last date for the submission of online applications is 16 June, 2025.

4. Verification: At the time of the written test/interview, candidates must bring their original certificates and the original paid fee challan for verification. Information claimed in the online form will be treated as final.

Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and obtain an NOC.
