The Punjab Public Service Commission, Lahore, is seeking applications for various positions in the Punjab Prisons Department and Mines Labour Welfare Organization, Punjab, Mines & Minerals Department.

Position: Assistant Director (IT) (Network/Database Administrator) (BS-17)

Basic Scale, Name & Nature of Post: (BS-17) Assistant Director (IT) (Network/Database Administrator) (On Regular Basis), Open Merit
Prescribed Qualification/Experience as per Service Rules:
i) Sixteen Years’ education (First Division) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Software Engineering with Networking or database administration as major subjects from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; and
ii) Two years’ experience as Network Data Base Administrator from a public or private sector organization.
Note:
a) Only such Practical Experience as obtained after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.
b) Experience from private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP or any other regulatory authority.
Age: Male: 25 to 30 + 05 = 35 Years, Female: 25 to 30 + 08 = 38 Years. As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016 Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

Important Notes

Change in the Priority/selection of examination centres after the fixation of written test shall not be allowed.
