Job Role

The Assistant Computer Programmer will provide support in software development, system maintenance, and other IT-related tasks at Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS). This position is offered on a daily wages basis, providing an opportunity for skilled individuals to contribute to the university's technical operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must possess an MCS, MIT, MTS (second division), or an equivalent qualification from an institution or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Alternatively, applicants with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree (second division) in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institution are eligible, provided they have at least four years of post-qualification relevant experience. This dual pathway ensures a wide range of qualified candidates can apply.

Eligibility and Domicile

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals who hold a domicile of Punjab province only. This ensures that the positions are filled by individuals from the specified region, contributing to local employment. The place of posting will be within CUVAS, Bahawalpur.

Application Process and Important Instructions

Interested candidates must submit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- to the CUVAS BWP A/c # 1752790102103 (IBAN # PK34HABB00 17527901021503) at any branch of Habib Bank Limited, Pakistan. The original fee deposit evidence must be attached with the application. Applications, along with attested copies of all credentials (testimonials, one recent passport size picture, CNIC, domicile, and experience letter, if any), should be submitted to the Office of Registrar, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur. All documents must be received on or before June 6, 2025, during officer hours. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible. It is important to note that the selected candidate for this daily wage position cannot claim regular appointment at any forum.
