This is an open merit position for Assistant Computer Operator (BPS-12) at the Directorate Small Industries and Sericulture Balochistan. The role is based in BB Division. The Assistant Computer Operator will be responsible for data entry, system operation, and other computer-related tasks, ensuring efficient workflow within the department.

Prescribed Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must possess a Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) with a one-year diploma in Computer Science or IT from a recognized institution. A critical requirement for this position is proficiency in Urdu and English typing, with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute from an IBS recognized institution. This ensures quick and accurate data handling.

Age and Gender Requirements

The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 28 years. However, age relaxation may be granted as per government rules. This position is open to both male and female candidates.

Domicile and Place of Posting

Applicants must possess a local or domicile certificate of Balochistan and provide an attested copy of their CNIC. The place of posting for this position will be in BB Division, Balochistan.

• Candidates will be called for a test and interview in Quetta.
• All documents submitted with the application must be properly attested.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
• The number of advertised posts may increase or decrease.
• As per the directives of the Government of Balochistan, a 5% quota is reserved for disabled candidates and a 5% quota for female candidates.
• No recommendation from a government employee will be accepted.

All applications must reach the office by 20 June, 2025. Ensure all photocopies of documents are attested.
