Position Overview

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced five positions for the post of Assistant (BS-16) on behalf of the Social Welfare & Bait ul Maal Department. These roles are offered on a contract basis for an initial period of five years and are based in Lahore. This is an open merit opportunity, inviting applications from all eligible candidates across Punjab who are graduates from a recognized university.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant are as follows:

• Education: A Graduate degree (at least 2nd Division) from a recognized University.
• Experience: No prior experience is required.
• Age Limit: Male: 18 to 30 years; Female: 18 to 33 years (including age relaxation).

Syllabus for Written Examination

A one-paper General Ability Written Test (MCQ type) of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration will be conducted. The syllabus will cover the following areas:

• General Knowledge
• Pakistan Studies
• Current Affairs
• Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim candidates)
• Geography
• Basic Mathematics
• English
• Urdu
• Everyday Science
• Basic Computer Studies
