Job Overview

The Government Technical Training Institute (GTTI) on Khanewal Road, Multan, is seeking qualified Male Visiting Instructors for the Welding trade. This temporary position is vital for developing skilled welders, who are critical for various industries. The instructor will be responsible for providing practical and theoretical training in various welding techniques, ensuring that students are proficient and ready for the workforce in Multan, Punjab.

Qualifications and Experience

For the Welding Instructor position, applicants must meet one of the following qualification and experience criteria:

• A Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in a relevant field (e.g., Fabrication, Mechanical Technology with welding specialization) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience.
• OR a Two years proficiency Certificate in Welding along with 6 years of relevant experience.

Only experience gained after obtaining the prescribed qualification will be considered. The degree, diploma, or certificate must be from a PEC/HEC recognized university/institute where applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be male, as clearly stated in the job title. The age limit for applicants is strictly 18 to 40 years. All candidates are required to be medically and physically fit to perform the duties of an instructor. The competent authority retains the right to cancel the hiring against any advertised post without assigning any specific reason, maintaining administrative flexibility.

All these documents must reach the Office of the Principal, GTTI, Khanewal Road, Multan, by post by June 02, 2025, within office time. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview via telephonic call or e-mail. Candidates called for an interview must bring all their original documents for verification at the time of the interview. Please note that no Traveling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be admissible for attending the interview. The remuneration for the visiting staff will be paid as notified by the competent authority.
