Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore is a federally chartered public-sector degree-awarding premier design institute. It is dedicated to meeting the evolving demands of industry and providing a platform for individuals aspiring to pursue dynamic and challenging careers in the field of art and design. PIFD offers comprehensive art and design education that emphasizes the relationship between products and consumers, fostering innovation, creativity, and practical application.

Qualification & Experience

Applicants should preferably hold a PhD and a first professional degree in the disciplines of Visual Arts and Design. Candidates will be assessed according to their academic and leadership abilities and attainments, as well as significant evidence of meaningful academic, administration, professional competence in art and design, strategic planning, financial management, and resource development.

Terms of the Appointment

The Vice Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor for a period of 05 years. Maximum age limit is 65 years on the last date fixed for submission of applications. Those already in Government or Semi-Government service are required to apply through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.
