Job Overview

The Bank of Punjab is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Unit Head Central & North Litigation within the Litigation Division (Legal Group). This role involves managing and supervising the rights and interests of the bank, handling litigation portfolios, and liaising with external counsels.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a minimum LLB or relevant degree from an HEC recognized local or foreign university/institute. A minimum of 09 years of experience in Litigation, Banking Laws, Criminal Laws, Corporate & Recovery Laws is required. The maximum age limit is up to 55 years as on the date of application.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage & supervise rights and interests of the Bank by effectively overseeing the litigation portfolio of different BUs.
• Vet, supervise, and provide legal guidance on settlement and compromise agreements.
• Manage & liaise with external counsels in order to ensure attendance before Courts and defend Bank's interest properly.
• Recommend qualified lawyers for empanelment and process approval notes for defalcated amounts per legal SOPs.
