Traffic Data & Survey Expert

Role Overview

The Transport Planning Unit (TPU), functioning as the Technical Wing of the Transport & Masstransit Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore, invites applications for the position of Traffic Data & Survey Expert. The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of 03 years, extendable based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance evaluation, under a lump-sum pay package.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification: B.Sc in Transportation Engineering from a recognized university with at least GPA of 3.0 or 70% marks or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 02 years' experience in conducting traffic surveys or any kind of surveys utilized in transport / traffic studies.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Domicile: Only applicants having Punjab Domicile are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: 22-30 years as on the closing date.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit for male applicants is 5 years and for female applicants is 08 years, as per government policy.
• Quotas: Quotas reserved by the Government of the Punjab for women, persons with disabilities, and minorities shall be observed if the number of seats in the cadre allows.
• Government Employees: Applicants already working in Government/Semi Government/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and provide NOC from their concerned department at the time of interview (if called).

1. Applicants are required to apply online exclusively through the official Punjab jobs portal: jobs.punjab.gov.pk.
2. Applications received through other means like email, postal/courier services, in person, etc., will not be entertained.
3. The Last Date for submission of the online application is 16-05-2025.
4. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
5. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interviews.
6. If a large number of applications are received for the post, a test may be conducted to shortlist the applicants.
7. Applicants called for interview will be required to produce original CNIC, Domicile certificate, transcripts of qualifications, and experience certificates, along with a set of attested copies of these documents.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the test/interview.
