Company Overview

Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for the power sector, and to administer, monitor and evaluate the performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans. The Company is seeking applications from eligible persons who can perform the tasks assigned.

Role Summary

PPMC is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead the Economics team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in economic analysis, policy formulation, and strategic planning related to the power sector. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to exercise sound judgment. IT Savvy, integrity, and maturity are essential attributes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics / Econometrics or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in economic and environmental planning, preferably within the energy sector or a multinational organization.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

General Terms and Application Process

The first 03 months of employment shall be on probation and thereafter shall be continued as per company policy. The selected candidates will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience.
