About the Role

National Bank of Pakistan is currently hiring a dedicated Systems Administrator (OG-II / OG-I) based in Islamabad. Reporting to the Unit Head – Systems Administration (Windows), the selected candidate will handle day-to-day operations and management of servers, active directory, and security solutions.

Educational and Professional Requirements

Applicants are required to have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, OR a Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent from a local or international university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Candidates having relevant certification(s) will be preferred.

Experience and Skills Required

Minimum 03 years of experience in Systems Administration, preferably in bank(s).
Ability to work within a cohesive, high performing, closely knitted team.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Duties and Responsibilities

To be able to manage the centralized endpoint security solution, including antivirus (AV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) systems.
To be able to manage upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and patching activities related to all ongoing projects and assignments.
To be able to manage and implement security standards, including encryption and security certificates.
To be able to perform backup activities and conduct routine hardware and software audits and ensure compliance with standards, policies, and OEM configuration guidelines.
To implement, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Failover Clustering and maintain virtualized environments.
