Supervisor Ornamental and Flowering/Plant Nursery/Greenhouse

Job Overview

Capital Development Authority (CDA) is inviting applications for twelve (12) Supervisor positions (PPS-2) on a contract basis. These roles are crucial for the day-to-day supervision of ornamental and flowering plant nurseries, as well as greenhouse operations, ensuring proper plant care, propagation, and maintenance.

Qualification and Experience

• Education: F.Sc. Biology with a Diploma in floriculture/landscaping.
• For Plant Nursery: F.Sc. Biology with Forester course.
• Experience: Two (02) years of experience in indoor and outdoor plant management, including annual and seasonal flower nurseries, and propagation techniques (in-season and out-of-season).

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for this position is 30 years. Age relaxation applicable as per government policy.

General Information

• Posts will be filled on merit.
• Appointment is on a contract basis for an initial period of two years, extendable. No vested right for regular appointment.
• CDA reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or to increase/decrease the number of posts.
• Candidates working in public sector departments should provide a departmental NOC.
• Only short-listed candidates who meet the criteria will be called for a test or interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
