Job Overview

The Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company (PIEDMC), a not-for-profit organization owned by the Government of Punjab, is seeking a highly experienced Sub-Station Operator (SSO-1) for its operations in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Sheikhupura. This vital role is offered on a contract basis and is instrumental in maintaining the uninterrupted power supply and operational efficiency within PIEDMC's rapidly expanding industrial estates. The selected individual will be responsible for the sophisticated operation and vigilant maintenance of grid stations, directly contributing to the planned and rapid industrialization initiatives across the province of Punjab.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a Sub-Station Operator (SSO-1), your primary responsibilities will include the meticulous operation and maintenance of grid station equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. You will monitor power flow, perform routine inspections, identify and troubleshoot faults, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure continuous power supply to the industrial units. Immediate response to power outages and coordination with relevant teams for swift resolution will also be a critical part of your duties.

Candidates for this Sub-Station Operator (SSO-1) job in Sheikhupura must hold a DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer) in Electrical Power from a PBTE (Punjab Board of Technical Education) recognized institute. A substantial minimum of 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of Grid Stations is essential for this senior role. Applicants must be at least 25 years old.
