AKES, Pakistan, part of the Aga Khan Development Network, is committed to providing quality education. The Education Office in Gilgit seeks a qualified Student Counsellor for the RSDU Gupis-Yasin region.

Role Responsibilities

The Student Counsellor will provide essential career and life guidance to students, parents, teachers, and school leaders. Responsibilities include addressing issues like bullying, disabilities, academic challenges, and social issues while actively promoting mental health awareness aligned with organizational policy. The role also involves conducting assessments and advising on academic and career planning. Field travel is a required component of this position.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's or BS degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Psychology.
• Certification in Child Psychology is desirable.
• Relevant experience in student counselling is preferred.
