Project Overview

The Project Management Unit (PMU), Board of Revenue, Government of the Punjab, is implementing the Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PULSE) Project, financed through IDA Credit No. 7041-PK from the World Bank. The PMU is inviting experienced candidates to express their interest for the role of Individual Consultants as Software Developers.

Role and Responsibilities

The PMU is hiring three (03) Software Developers to contribute to the PULSE project. The consultants will be involved in tasks related to software development, design, and management of spatial databases, management systems, and spatial feature representations within the project's scope. Detailed Terms of Reference (TORs) are available at https://www.pulse.gop.pk/.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 16 years of education in GIS / Computer Science / IT or equivalent education from an HEC recognized University / Institute.
• At least two (2) years of post-qualification experience in design and management of spatial databases, management systems, and spatial feature representations.

Selection Process

The selection will be made in accordance with Section VII, paragraph 7.36 on Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants of the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, dated November 2020. Attention is drawn to Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 regarding the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
