Social Safeguard Officer

Role Overview

A World Bank funded project in Karachi requires a Social Safeguard Officer on a contract basis to manage the social aspects and impacts of the project activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or an equivalent field from an HEC recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of two (02) years of relevant experience in social development, community engagement, or social safeguards.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and implementing social safeguard plans, engaging with communities, addressing grievances, ensuring compliance with social policies, and reporting on social performance.
