About the Role

The Human Rights & Minorities Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab, is launching a digital campaign and requires a Social Media Executive on a contract basis for the financial year 2024-25. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance the department's outreach and engagement regarding human rights initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.
  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on social media best practices.
  • Collect customer data, analyze interactions, and create reports to improve future strategies.
  • Report progress to senior management.
  • Grow and expand the department's social media presence on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Research competitor activities.
  • Create and distribute engaging written or graphic content (e-newsletters, web page/blog content, social media messages).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 16 years of education with a Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT / Software Engineering from an HEC recognized institute.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social media management or marketing.
  • Age Limit: 25-30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government Policy.
