Simulation Technician

Role Overview

CPSP is seeking a Simulation Technician to support its training programs in Karachi and Islamabad. The role involves managing sophisticated simulation equipment used for medical training, ensuring its proper functioning, programming, operation, maintenance, and assisting in simulation sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, operation, and maintenance of simulation-based medical learning systems.
• Assisting faculty and students during simulation training sessions.
• Troubleshooting technical issues with simulation equipment.
• Maintaining inventory and records of simulation supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following combinations (or equivalent):

• A: Graduate in Allied health sciences OR Graduate in computer sciences OR One year of full-time, paid experience in the programming, operation, and maintenance of simulation-based medical learning systems.
• B: Successful completion of a patient care simulator training program.
• C: Current valid certification in a health-related field such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training and/or experience with patient simulation equipment and related multimedia equipment is desirable.
• D: Any equivalent combination of A, B, and C above.
• Special Requirement: Current and valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS).
