Job Overview
The Panjnad Canal Division, Irrigation Department, Government of Punjab, invites applications from eligible candidates residing within the limits of Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur districts (under Panjnad Canal Division) for the temporary (work-charge) post of Signaller for the year 2025-2026. The recruitment will be based on merit. The specific posting will be in the Allahabad, Pakka Laran Canal Sub-Division. Salary will be as per the government-approved schedule of wage rates.Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: FA (Intermediate) with 2nd Division, OR the ability to read an inch tape.Additional Requirements: Candidates must be healthy, able to read and write, know swimming, and be skilled in some work.
Age Limit: 20 to 45 years. Candidates younger than 20 or older than 45 years are not eligible.
Domicile: Residents of Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur districts within the jurisdiction of Panjnad Canal Division.
Application Submission Process
Interested candidates must submit their applications on plain paper. Applications must reach the office of the Executive Engineer, Panjnad Canal Division, Panjnad, by 24 May, 2025, during office hours.The following documents must be attached with the application:
- Attested copy of CNIC (National Identity Card)
- Attested copy of Domicile certificate
- Attested copies of educational certificates
- An affidavit stating that the candidate is not currently employed in any government, private, or news agency (as per condition 10 of the advertisement).
Interview Details
Interviews for eligible candidates will be held on Monday, 26 May, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Panjnad Canal Division, Panjnad. Candidates must bring their original documents to the interview. If the interview cannot be conducted on the scheduled date due to other official government work, it will be held on the next day, Tuesday, 27 May, 2025. If the scheduled interview date is a public holiday, the interview will be conducted on the next working day. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.Important Instructions (شرائط)
۱۔ اشتہار سے پہلے مقررہ تاریخ کے بعد ، بذریعہ رجسٹری وصول ہونے والی اور نامکمل درخواستوں پر غور نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
۲۔ اخبار میں اشتہار آنے کی تاریخ سے لے کر درخواستیں دفتری اوقات میں مورخہ 2025-05-24 تک وصول کی جائیں گی۔
۳۔ تمام امیدواران کو مورخہ 2025-05-26 بروز سوموار صبح 10:00 بجے دفتر ایگزیکٹو انجینئر پنجند کینال ڈویژن پنجند میں سلیکشن کمیٹی کے روبرو بغرض انٹرویو اصل کاغزات کے ساتھ حاضر ہونا ہوگا۔ اگر پوچہ دیگر سرکاری کام انٹرویو مقررہ تاریخ کو نہ ہو سکا تو پھر مورخہ 2025-05-27 بروز منگل کو ہوگا۔
۴۔ امیدواران کو انٹرویو کے لیے آنے جانے کا سفری خرچ نہ دیا جائے گا۔
۵۔ برائے مہربانی امیدواران کو درخواست جمع کرواتے وقت شناختی کارڈ اور ڈومیسائل کی نقول کسی بھی گزٹیڈ آفیسر سے تصدیق شدہ ہمراہ درخواست داخل کرنا ہوں گی۔ دیگر درخواست قابل قبول نہ ہوں گی۔
۶۔ امیدوار کی عمر 20 تا 45 سال تک ہونا ضروری ہے۔ 20 سال سے کم اور 45 سال سے زیادہ عمر کے حامل افراد کی درخواست ناقابل منظور ہوگی۔
۷۔ درج بالا آسامیوں کی مدت ملازمت عارضی سیزن 2025 تک ہوگی۔ (Note: Ad header says 2025-26, point 11 says recruitment is temporary. This point specifically mentions season 2025).
۸۔ منتخب اہل کار کو دوران ملازمت ناقص کارکردگی اور غیر حاضری کی وجہ سے کسی بھی وقت برخاست کیا جاسکتا ہے۔ کوئی بھی اہلکار برخاست کئے جانے پر عدالت سے رجوع کرنے کا حق نہ رکھتا ہوگا۔
۹۔ حسب ضرورت تعداد آسامیوں میں کمی بیشی کی جاسکتی ہے۔
۱۰۔ ورک چارج امیدواران کو ہمراہ درخواست کسی گورنمنٹ یا پرائیویٹ ادارہ یا کسی بھی نیوز ایجنسی میں کام نہ کرنے کا بیان حلفی جمع کروانا لازمی ہوگا۔
۱۱۔ درج بالا آسامیوں کی بھرتی میرٹ پر اور قطعی طور پر عارضی ہوگی۔
۱۲۔ انٹرویو کی مقررہ تاریخ کو سرکاری چھٹی ہونے کی بناء پر ٹیسٹ / انٹرویو اگلے دن ہوگا۔
۲۔ اخبار میں اشتہار آنے کی تاریخ سے لے کر درخواستیں دفتری اوقات میں مورخہ 2025-05-24 تک وصول کی جائیں گی۔
