Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available at Pakistan Railways for a Senior Officer IT on a contract basis under the PSDP project 'Establishment of Business Development & HR Support Unit, Pakistan Railways.'

Key Responsibilities

Manage Windows Server environment, LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi networks.
Handle Microsoft 365 including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint, VPN, and networking.
Maintain file servers, centralized storage systems, backup, and recovery systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and evaluate IT equipment and services.
Handle infrastructure, construction, engineering consultancy, or MDB/World Bank-funded project IT requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates require a BS (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 16 years of education recognized by HEC/PEC. Relevant professional IT certification (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+) will be an added advantage. Minimum five (5) years of post-qualification, relevant professional experience in IT support, network hardware administration, or office systems management. Maximum age limit is 45 years.
