Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available at Pakistan Railways for a Senior Officer IT on a contract basis under the PSDP project 'Establishment of Business Development & HR Support Unit, Pakistan Railways.'

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server environment, LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi networks.
• Handle Microsoft 365 including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint, VPN, and networking.
• Maintain file servers, centralized storage systems, backup, and recovery systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and evaluate IT equipment and services.
• Handle infrastructure, construction, engineering consultancy, or MDB/World Bank-funded project IT requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates require a BS (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 16 years of education recognized by HEC/PEC. Relevant professional IT certification (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+) will be an added advantage. Minimum five (5) years of post-qualification, relevant professional experience in IT support, network hardware administration, or office systems management. Maximum age limit is 45 years.
