Key Responsibilities

The core duties of the Senior Investigator/Enforcement Officer are multifaceted and critical to the CCP's operations. These include:

  • Conducting and supervising in-depth investigations into anti-competitive practices, such as abuse of dominance, cartelization, bid rigging, and deceptive marketing strategies.
  • Reviewing and providing guidance on the preparation of comprehensive inquiry reports and enforcement orders.
  • Conducting market studies and research work directly related to competition enforcement.
  • Coordinating with other relevant departments to ensure comprehensive enforcement outcomes.
  • Staying abreast of international best practices and proposing policy improvements to strengthen enforcement mechanisms.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by senior management to further the Commission's objectives.

General Terms and Conditions

The appointment for this position will be on a contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years, which may be further extended based on satisfactory performance. Only candidates possessing the requisite qualifications, experience, and age will be considered, and only shortlisted individuals will be called for an interview or test. No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the test/interview. A general age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit will be granted as permissible under government rules.
