Position Overview

The college invites applications for the position of Senior English Teacher, specifically for female candidates. There is one (01) vacancy available for this role. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching English to senior classes, designing lesson plans, assessing student performance, and contributing to the overall academic and co-curricular development of the students. This is a critical role that requires a strong command of the English language and effective pedagogical skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants for the Senior English Teacher position must possess an MS/MA/BS degree in English or a relevant subject from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institute. A First Division, 2.5 CGPA, or 60% marks in the highest degree is mandatory. A B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree is preferable, indicating a strong foundation in teaching methodologies. Candidates should also have a minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in a renowned educational institution. The age limit for this position is 35 years, ensuring a blend of experience and fresh perspectives.

Terms and Conditions

The advertised posts are non-transferable and offered purely on a contract basis. Initially, the contract will be for a six (06) months observation period. Upon satisfactory performance and positive feedback, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) may extend the contract for up to three years, with further annual extensions possible. The salary package offered for this position will be attractive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test, demo, and interview. No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be admissible for candidates appearing for the selection process.
