Job Overview

WAPDA has announced job opportunities for the position of Security Officer on a regular basis. Applications are invited from suitable and eligible candidates who are retired Armed Forces JCOs. Candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria regarding education, experience, and age limit to apply successfully.

Eligibility Criteria

Rank Requirement: Retired Armed Forces JCOs of the rank of Hon. Sub. Major / Subedar or equivalent.
Education: Secondary School Certificate Examination with 'C' grade / second division or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
Preference: Preference will be given to intelligence-qualified officers with field / staff experience of security duty for 2/3 years.

General Conditions & Instructions

Only eligible or shortlisted candidates shall be called for test or interview, and no TA/DA shall be admissible.
No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit. Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Original documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of interview.
The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of 01 year.
Applications carrying incomplete or incorrect information or received after the last date shall be rejected.
