Job Summary

This is a critical opportunity for a seasoned Sales Tax Officer to join a reputable garments export company based in Lahore, Punjab. The role is designed for a professional who possesses a deep understanding of sales tax regulations and has practical experience in managing complex tax-related operations within a corporate environment. The Sales Tax Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant tax laws and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently maintaining comprehensive and accurate Sales Tax records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and auditable.
• Conducting thorough Sales Tax Audits to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and prepare for official examinations.
• Responsibly preparing and filing monthly Sales Tax returns within prescribed deadlines, minimizing penalties and ensuring smooth operations.
• Engaging in direct and effective interaction with Tax Officials for the purpose of pursuing Sales Tax Deferred Claims and proactively addressing any other related tax matters, representing the company's interests diligently.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Candidates interested in this challenging Sales Tax Officer role must hold a strong academic background. A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree from a recognized institution is a mandatory requirement. Furthermore, a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the field of Sales Tax management, including record keeping, auditing, and return filing, is essential to successfully perform the duties associated with this position.

Location

The position is based at the company's office located at 19-KM Ferozepur Road, Lahore, Punjab. Candidates should be prepared to commute to this location.
