Resource Mobilization Officer

Job Purpose

To mobilize financial and in-kind resources by building donor relationships, identifying funding opportunities, developing proposals, and implementing effective fundraising initiatives to achieve organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a donor database including contact details, areas of interest/objectives, funding and contractual modalities, and formats.
• Research, approach and negotiate with new funding and old partners for financial support such as grants, in-kind contributions, event sponsorship, pro bono services etc.
• Research and analyze donor call for funding applications and requests for expression of interest proposals.
• Developing strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets.
• Ensure continuous follow-up and maintain good liaison with the donors.
• Prepare proposals, concept papers, estimates, feedback for donors.
• Arrange visits, briefings, social functions for donors and field staff on need basis.
• Collect cash, cheques and other instruments from the donors, and submit them to the F&A Department. Also update the Donor Care Section and provide them with details accordingly.
• Hosting fundraising and awareness creating events such as Fundraising Dinner, Educational walks, Seminars, Concerts, Close circle meetings, etc.
• Under the Supervision of the team lead, ensure that the fundraising initiatives such as: Taleem Dost, Sadqa box, educate a child box, stalls etc. are being executed as per the plan.
• Coordinate with Donor Care on a regular basis and keep them abreast of the donor information, if any.
• Involve volunteers and alumni for executing fundraising and image building activities.
• Prepare annual/quarterly work plans and reports.
• Participates in program planning and review meetings to review past achievements and future possibilities.
• Any other related tasks assigned by respective supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum bachelor's degree in social sciences, mass communication, marketing or related discipline.
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience.

Important Notes

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview.
• No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in written test/interview.
• Local candidates residing in Kotli, AJK will be given preference.
