Project and Organization Overview

The Cabinet Secretariat, Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) Division, under the UNDP funded project 'Invest Pakistan', invites applications from eligible, dynamic, and experienced professionals for contract-based positions on open merit. These positions for Research Associate (Sector Specific) are based in Islamabad. There are four vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: MA/MSc/BS or equivalent (16 years of education) in one of the following fields: (i) Agriculture (ii) IT & Telecom (iii) Power (iv) Petroleum (v) Mines & Minerals (vi) Defense Production (vii) Industries (viii) Trade.
Experience: Relevant field experience in public/private sector. Must possess good communication, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to prepare presentations and reports.
Age Limit: Up to 45 years.
Pay Scale: PPS-07.

General Terms and Conditions

The appointment will be on a contract basis. Government employees (current or part-time) must apply through the proper channel (Joint Department), and an NOC will be required from selected candidates. Terms and conditions for government employees will be as per Finance Division's Notification F. No. 4(9) R-14/2008 dated 18.4.2022. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided. Selected candidates must bring original documents (CNIC, educational/experience certificates, domicile, police verification, medical fitness certificate) at the time of the interview. Candidates who previously applied and were not selected may re-apply.
