Job Overview

The University of Engineering and Technology Taxila is offering a project-based position for a Research Assistant under the Asia Pacific Network Project titled 'Urban Ecosystem Based Adaptions for Climate Resilience: A Comparative Study of Policy Practice and Capacity Building in Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan'. This is a contract-based opportunity located in Taxila, Punjab.
Candidates will work for a duration of 18 months, contributing to research activities and environmental monitoring.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must hold a BS/MS degree in Environmental Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized or PEC-accredited university.
Required skills include:

• Environmental impact assessment and climate resilience strategies.
• Policy analysis and comparative study methodologies, and report writing skills.
• Data analysis and visualization e.g. Python, R, or similar tools.
• GIS and Remote Sensing for environmental monitoring.

Age limit is up to 30 years.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a monthly pay package of Rs. 45,000/-.
