Role Overview
National Bank of Pakistan, a leading financial institution, seeks a talented and dedicated Relationship Manager for Trade Finance within its Corporate & Investment Banking wing. Reporting to the Wing Head, this position is based in Lahore and plays a vital role in driving trade finance business growth and maintaining strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities
Account Coverage:- Assist the Unit Head - Trade Sales in achieving trade business goals (volumes and revenues).
- Coordinate and support client coverage teams within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG).
- Originate new business opportunities from existing and New-To-Bank (NTB) clients within agreed risk parameters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Trade Processing Centre, FI & Compliance Teams) for smooth trade business flow.
- Ensure high standards of professional customer service for NBP's clients.
- Implement and monitor sales activities and structure trade deals effectively.
Business Development & Revenue Generation:
- Support trade volume and revenue growth by deepening regional clients' wallet share.
- Engage regional clients regarding their utilization of NBP's trade limits.
- Stay informed about client business strategies, market dynamics, and economic conditions.
- Keep abreast of competitors' products and services.
- Achieve assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including cross-selling trade finance products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC. Candidates holding a Master's degree and/or relevant certifications will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 03 years of Banking experience, with at least 01 year specifically in Trade Finance Operation and/or client handling/dealing and/or customer service roles.
- Skills: Strong analytical and structuring skills, sound understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking products/services, good understanding of regulatory requirements (advantageous), excellent relationship management skills, and trade-related expertise.
Contract and Application Details
- Employment Type: The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of the Management.
- Compensation: Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy/rules.
