Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University (BBSUL), Lyari, Karachi, has announced a vacancy for the prestigious position of Registrar. This is a senior management role classified under BPS-20 and is offered as a tenure post for a duration of three years. The university is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee the administrative functions and ensure the smooth operation of academic and non-academic affairs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the position of Registrar, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Minimum 16 years of education from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
• Experience: At least 15 years of proven management and administrative experience in HEC-recognized universities, government, semi-government, or autonomous organizations.
• Preferred Skills: Preference will be given to candidates who have a demonstrated knowledge of government rules and regulations, HEC policies, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.

Application Process

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are required to follow the application procedure outlined below:

1. Obtain Application Form: Application forms can be obtained from the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) main campus, located at Faqeer Muhammad Durra Khan Road, near Kashti Chowk, Karachi. Alternatively, forms can be downloaded from the university's official website: www.bbsul.edu.pk.

2. Prepare Application Package: The application must be submitted with two sets of the following supporting documents:

• Resume with a covering letter
• Attested copies of educational certificates
• Attested copies of experience certificates
• Domicile/PRC
• CNIC
• Four recent passport-size photographs
• A bank receipt or pay-order of Rs. 5,000/- in favour of BENAZIR BHUTTO SHAHEED UNIVERSITY LYARI, addressed to the Registrar.

3. Submission: The complete application package must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari, by the deadline of 13/06/2025. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

Important Instructions

• Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
• Candidates currently employed in government, semi-government, or autonomous organizations should apply through the proper channel.
• In case of selection, currently employed candidates must either resign or obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer before joining.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
