Role Overview
As a Professor at the NUST Chip Design Centre (NCDC), you will be at the forefront of fostering innovation in Pakistan's semiconductor ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will include working collaboratively with academic and industry partners to drive excellence in chip design and verification. You will spearhead cutting-edge research initiatives, build strategic partnerships with industry, and lead a team in overseeing complex chip design projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.Key Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Professor position must possess the following qualifications:- Education: A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in chip design, including significant leadership roles in academia or industry.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities are required. Candidates must have outstanding communication, presentation, reporting, and collaboration skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and lead advanced research.
