Qualifications and Experience

All qualifications and experience for the position of Professor must meet the HEC (Higher Education Commission) criteria. Candidates are expected to have a strong academic background, relevant teaching and research experience commensurate with the rank of Professor, typically including a PhD in Software Engineering or a closely related field, a significant record of scholarly publications, and proven leadership in academia. Experience requirements are as per HEC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Professor - Software Engineering will include, but are not limited to: delivering advanced lectures and conducting research in Software Engineering, developing and overseeing curriculum, supervising postgraduate (MS/PhD) student research, leading research projects and securing grants, publishing in high-impact journals, mentoring junior faculty, and actively participating in departmental and university governance. Specific responsibilities will align with the HEC guidelines for the role of Professor.
