Procurement Manager/ Specialist

Project Overview

This position supports the 'Prime Minister's Program for the Elimination of Hepatitis C Infection in Pakistan' under the Ministry of NHSR&C. The role is contract-based (July 2024 - June 2029 or project completion) and based in Islamabad. This position is open merit.

Role Responsibilities

Manage all procurement activities for the project, including goods, works, and consulting services, ensuring compliance with national and international public procurement regulations. Responsibilities include bid evaluation, contract award, and management, particularly for government and donor-funded projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• BS Hons (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Management) with an MBA in Finance or Procurement or Logistic & Supply Chain from a top 10 HEC-ranked university. Management degrees will be given more weightage.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in procurement management (goods, works, consulting services). Experience in health-related projects is preferred.
• Knowledge and implementation experience of various international/national/subnational public procurement procedures.
• Hands-on experience in conducting technical evaluation of bids, contract award, and management.

Age Limit

Applicants should be between 40 and 50 years of age.
