Vacancy Overview

The Directorate of Education, Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, under the Government of the Punjab Labour & Human Resource Department, invites applications from qualified, motivated, committed, and highly dynamic professionals for the position of Principal (BS-18). The appointments are offered on a contract basis for the Workers Welfare Schools (Boys & Girls) located in Toba Tek Singh. Two positions are available (one male, one female).

Role Description and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should possess a markedly mature and balanced personality with progressive ideals. They should be capable of leading a state-of-the-art institution with a mellowed outlook, deep learning, and devotion to alumni. Key responsibilities include demonstrating effective interpersonal and managerial skills, thorough understanding of management, wholesome grooming and personality development of alumni, and good administrative acumen to manage institutional affairs like procurement, health & safety, security, public audits, sports facilities, counseling, financial matters, and correspondence. The Principal will also need good knowledge of the educational system in Punjab to improve student performance and guide/train teachers effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification: Minimum Master's degree (with minimum 2nd division) from an HEC recognized educational institution.
Experience/Credentials:

• Preferably 05 years' experience as a principal or a senior faculty member, preferably at a reputed institution with traditional public schools.
• Proven leadership and command ability.
• Thorough understanding of management principles.
• Good administrative acumen.
• Good knowledge of the educational system in Punjab.
• Ability to guide and train teachers.
• Excellent English communication skills (mandatory).

Position Details

• Number of Posts: 02 (Two) - 01 Male & 01 Female. (Only female candidates are eligible for the Girls School post, and male candidates for the Boys' School post).
• Age Limit: Up to 63 years.
• Location: Workers Welfare Schools (Boys & Girls), Toba Tek Singh, Punjab.
• Salary & Benefits: BS-18 (Scale: 56880-4260-142,080) plus standard benefits as per policy.
