Job Announcement (اعلانِ ملازمت)

The Central Police Office, Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, announces vacancies for Band Men (BPS-05) in the Azad Kashmir Police. Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are state subjects of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, including 1947 migrants from Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and 1989 migrants. These are permanent positions.

Eligibility Criteria (اہلیت کا معیار)

The following eligibility criteria apply to the post of Pipe Major / Band Master:

• Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years. (کم از کم 18 سال اور زیادہ سے زیادہ 40 سال)
• Education: At least Middle pass from a recognized school. (کم از کم مڈل پاس)
• Experience/Qualification: Must be qualified in the respective band course from a recognized institution/school of music. Ex-servicemen from the armed forces with relevant band experience (not more than 3 years gap since retirement and not more than 7 years in the relevant band) will be given preference. Application Process and Deadline (درخواست جمع کروانے کا طریقہ کار اور آخری تاریخ)

Interested candidates must submit their applications to the office in Muzaffarabad by May 30, 2025. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. The application must include attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational certificates, character certificate (if applicable), and three recent passport-size photographs.

Interview/Test Information (انٹرویو/ٹیسٹ کے متعلق معلومات)

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. Candidates must appear for the test/interview on June 3, 2025, at 09:00 AM at Police Lines Record, Muzaffarabad, along with their original documents. Document verification will be conducted on the same day. Candidates from outside Muzaffarabad should arrange their own accommodation if needed for Play Ground Test/Interview.

Important Instructions (اہم ہدایات)

• The selection of candidates will be subject to verification of their character and past record. Any adverse report will lead to disqualification.
• Appointments will initially be on a temporary basis and will be regularized after successful verification of antecedents and character.
• Selected candidates will be posted after security clearance.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
