Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, manage pharmacy operations during the evening shift and ensure accurate dispensing and inventory control to support quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription handling and provide information and advice drugs, their side effects, correct dosage and proper storage.
• Dispensing and charging of panel prescriptions timely and accurately.
• Advice customer on brand selection of medication.
• Charging articles on computer system and receiving cash in return (OPD Pharmacy).
• Dispensing medicines and other related articles with cash memo / pharmacy items issuance slip of said items.
• Review and process ward indent for accurate therapeutic doses.
• Conduct clinical ward rounds.
• Ensure accuracy of label before dispensing.
• Staff management in the absence of Pharmacist In-charge pharmacy includes duty exchanges, leave & other related issues.
• Managing the Pharmacy shift operations and availability of assistant round the clock.
• Daily provides demand of stock to main store.
• Mark the non-availability and arrangement of requested prescription medicines for patients.
• Keep records such as pharmacy files, inventories, material stock issuance, incident reporting forms etc.
• Performing critical items inventory check on daily basis for each shift.
• Will be held responsible for any shortage in assigned shift.
• Expiry monitoring and complete expiry drug list on accurate and timely basis.
• Any other task assigned by the management.

Requirements

Qualification: Pharm-D
Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
Skills: Good communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and teamwork.
