Job Opportunity Details

The Directorate of Archaeology & Museums, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is seeking applications from qualified male candidates of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for appointment to the regular post of Pandit (BPS-14). This opportunity falls under the Minority quota.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: At least Second-Class Intermediate Certificate or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. Must possess a certificate from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pandit Council.
• Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (Relaxation as per existing Government Rules).
• Gender: Male.
• Quota: Minority.
• Domicile: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Experience: Experience marks will be awarded only to candidates with relevant experience of full-time paid employment in the Government sector. Experience of Self-Employment, independent practice, Volunteer work, or as a Self-Interner carries no marks.

Terms and Conditions

• Candidates will appear provisionally in the ETEA screening test, subject to detailed scrutiny. Any ineligibility found later will lead to disqualification.
• Interviews/Call letters issued only to shortlisted candidates.
• Shortlisting based on ETEA screening test (minimum 50 marks required).
• Candidates must be eligible in all respects by the application closing date.
• Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
• Original documents must be produced at the interview.
• No TA/DA for test/interview.
• Foreign degree holders must provide HEC equivalence certificates.

How to Apply

Interested candidates must apply online through the ETEA website.

1. Visit www.etea.edu.pk and create a profile. Before applying/depositing the fee, candidates must print the E-Sahulat Token from the ETEA website and get their CNIC verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (KIOSK). Without this verification, application is not possible.
2. After successful online application submission, a prescribed UBL online deposit slip (containing token number, Project Code, and personal information) will be generated.
3. Take a printout of the generated deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through Easypaisa App/agent, Jazzcash App/agent, or any branch of UBL Bank/UBL OMNI agent.
4. After successful fee submission, keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having the bank's stamp. Do not share it.
5. Apply separately for each post if applying for more than one.
6. Do not send any documents to ETEA at the initial stage. Testimonials/documents will be required from shortlisted candidates after the screening test.
7. Online Application form availability starts on 22nd April, 2025 on www.etea.edu.pk.
8. The last date for submission of the online application is 20th May, 2025.
9. Candidates will be informed via SMS by ETEA to download/print their Roll No. Slip from www.etea.edu.pk.
10. Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip.
11. No separate call letter will be issued for the screening test via postal/courier means.
