Responsibilities
As an Odoo Developer at Fortex Solutions, your key responsibilities will include:- Develop and customize Odoo modules to meet business needs.
- Integrate third-party applications with Odoo.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code.
- Participate in project planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Odoo systems.
- Create functional and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and business analysts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:- Strong knowledge of Python and Odoo Framework (v12 – v16 preferred).
- Experience in Odoo module development, customization, and integration.
- Understanding of Odoo ORM, workflows, and business processes (Sales, Inventory, HR, Accounting, etc.).
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templating.
- Good understanding of API integration (REST/SOAP).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
