Nser Coordinator

Program Overview

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Government of Pakistan, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the 'Crisis Resilient Social Protection (CRISP) Program'. BISP intends to apply part of the proceeds for engaging Individual Consultant Services for various positions, including the NSER Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities

The NSER Coordinator will work within the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) framework. Key responsibilities involve leveraging expertise in statistics, data sciences, and data management. The role requires strong comprehension, analytical reasoning, and report writing skills to compile, organize, interpret, analyze data from various databases/sources, and present findings effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Management Sciences, or any relevant field, from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience: At least 7 years of experience working in similar domains. Essential expertise includes statistics, data sciences, and data management. Proven ability to handle data analysis tasks and report writing is crucial. Experience working with large-scale Government projects and/or international Development Partners will be considered an asset.

Applicants need to fill the prescribed “Online Application Form” available on the website and upload their detailed/updated CV.

A consultant shall be selected in accordance with the method contained in Section VII, paragraphs 7.36 and 7.37 of the “World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, July 2016 [Revised November 2017 and August 2018].
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. T.A./D.A shall not be admissible.
Remuneration would be negotiable commensurating to qualification and experience of the candidate.
